The Schwartes

These two were so sweet and cute today.  Lucas was sitting in his boppy and Charlotte wanted to sit on pillows right in front of him and hand him stuffed animals.  When she laughs, he laughs and it continues on.  They are SO sweet!  They just grinned and grinned.  Oh, and check out my little man sitting so well in the boppy!!!  Big boy!!  And Charlotte’s hair is growing and getting long!

A couple of weeks ago Lucas mastered rolling over from his back to his front.  He rolled from his front to his back quite a bit a month or so ago but this is impressive.  (proud mommy!)  Charlotte never really rolled over.  She just said to heck with it and started crawling at 7 months so this has been really fun and different for me.  He’s such an active and strong little guy.  He’s my little muscle man.  He’s 5 months old now and I’d say he weighs about 18 pounds.  Now keep in mind that Charlotte didn’t weigh that until she was about a year old!  I think he’s also so active already because he sees Charlotte and just lunges for her.  He wants to play with her and keep up with her.  It’s so sweet watching them interact.

Also, the same week he mastered rolling over, he got his first two teeth.  They’re on the bottom front.  I can’t believe how quickly time is going by.  He was just my sweet new baby minutes ago and now he’s already strong and moving around.  So, I tried to get Lucas on video rolling over for the longest time but of course he would never roll over for me!  I finally caught him in the act!  AND I was able to get a pic of his teeth too.

Yesterday was Eric’s 32nd birthday.  It was a pretty low key birthday compared to others but we celebrated every chance we could.  Charlotte worked on wishing Eric a happy birthday but it ended up coming out as “Happy Daddy!”  He is a happy daddy!!  What a difference a few years makes!  This is a pic of Eric celebrating with our babies.  They’re amazed at all of the candles!    Love you baby!!  Can’t wait for many more!

This was our first family hike about a month ago before all of our snowstorms.  Lucas snoozed the entire time.

I haven’t posted pictures in quite some time.  It’s taken me a while to get my feet back under me with these two kiddos.  And when I do have time, I choose from sleep, dishes, or laundry!  It’s been the best though and here are a few pics to prove it.  I have more but these are the ones I’m able to put on right now.  Lucas is about three to four weeks old in these pics.  Enjoy!

Lucas was two months old on Valentine’s Day.  It’s going by so fast.  He’s definitely a big boy too!  He weighed 14lbs 9 oz and was almost 24 inches long at his check up.  The link to the video is below.
